To show that you can make very nice cards without spending a fortune on all the STUFF that's out there for cardmaking, by using stuff you already have or can have for little expense.

Life Is Just A Bowl of Cherries
This card began with the image, a motif from my stash of old giftwrap papers. I added a twig from our yard, silk blossoms, brads to imitate cherries, and layered all of that over a strip of gingham wallpaper sample, red & cream cardstocks with scissor-cut scallops and Martha Stewart doily punched edging, on top of a dark green wallpaper sample. I think I'll use this for a Thinking of You card.
Hi! I'm a 55 yr old country gal living in northcentral Wisconsin, married to Tim. Together we’re blessed with 6 daughters & 1 son, all of whom are adults & most married. We also have 13 grandchildren. I’m also a follower of Yeshua the Messiah. Faith in Yeshua is the foundation of my life & my motivation. I am currently enrolled fulltime at the University of Wisconsin working on a bachelors degree in elementary education/special education-learning disabilities, with a May 2013 graduation goal. I love to read, to make handmade cards, to garden, and do lots of other things. But with all of that doing, I strive to keep my focus on my LORD and Savior Yeshua the Messiah.
