Beginning 2012 With Cards

It's been awhile--okay, a LONG while--since I've posted anything here so I thought I'd better take advantage of the time I have right now and post what I've been up to lately. My college classes have been going well, but they definitely keep me really busy during the semester. Last year I took summer classes, too. I still have one lovely week of winter break left, in which I hope to get lots of cards made because I've been told that this semester is the busiest in my teaching degree program, so just in case I don't have much of any time to make cards once things get rolling, I want to have some cards done in advance of the need.

I've been experimenting with some new folds and techniques as you can see in the following photos. I'm not going to spend a lot of time commenting on these pics so if you are following me and have any questions, you'll have to post them in the comments and I'll get back to you. So are you ready for some pics?

Those are my first tri-fold shutter cards and I'm rather pleased with how they turned out! I will definitely be using this technique more.

There you have it for this time, friends! Take care and happy cardmaking!
